Rest In Peace

I have been looking for minutes at this massive stone cross. Why is it here in the middle of nowhere, in such a beautiful place? Why only this one? Could this be a place where people fought and died for their beliefs, their faith, or religion? Those clouds make me think so. They seem to add drama to this… drama.

Whatever the case, this is the perfect resting place, I think. And nature is in mourning.
